Yahoo news stated that there is a proposal to study if Manila would be retained as the Philippines' Capital. Is there really need to move the country's capital?
For me there is no need to move the country's capital because Manila is the longest standing seat of economic and political power,it is one of the commercial centers of the Philippines even before the Spanish came and grown to a renowned city during the Spanish colonial period.
And what makes Manila famous around the world? the shopping malls! according to some travel sites, Manila has the largest malls in the entire Asian region, the reason why most tourist visit the place.
There are some who criticize Manila because of the issues of poverty, but i guess almost all great places around the world has its own imperfection.
For some, there maybe more significant reasons why they want to move the country's capital and I must respect that. How about you, do you want to have a new capital for our country?
